(All ages, Free) I'll be playing my first solo gig in a while, performing my own compositions and improvisations for the "Oakland Under 100: Local Affordable Art" show at Temescal Arts Center around the corner from Lanesplitter Pizza & Pub (Yelp). About a dozen local artists will show smaller works (drawing, jewelry, painting, photography, sculpture) at exceptionally accessible prices - nothing more than $100, many below $50. There will be live music throughout the evening by Chris Larson, Val Esway, and I'm slated for the 9pm slot. At some point in the evening, I recommend taking a break for wine and appetizers at nearby Marc 49 wine bar (Yelp).
