(21+, $8-15 suggested donation) As part of Fabulita, an all-day (3-8pm, free BBQ while it lasts around fourish) fundraising event at El Rio (Yelp) in Bernal Heights, Blue Rabbit will be playing on the back patio around 6:30pm. Proceeds benefit Fabulosa Fest (celebrating women's music, film, comedy and craft arts) and, in turn, Northern California LGBTQ-oriented charities. Other bands playing earlier: Judea Eden, Karma, Chantelle Tibbs, Imogen Binnie. (I'll be substituting for Blue Rabbit's regular cellist, Kristin Harris.)
